Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support the annual budgeting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and federal/state tax laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
