Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations while maintaining internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead audit preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
- Optimize accounting workflows and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a tech or startup environment
- Expertise in financial reporting, general ledger, and month-end close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
