Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including preparing and analyzing complex journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements and variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and working with external auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
