Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
