Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports to drive business decisions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
