Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly financial close process and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
