Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for departmental portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Develop financial models and support strategic decision-making for executive leadership
- Mentor junior accountants and conduct quarterly training workshops
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams and process optimization initiatives
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial data
