As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for preparing complex financial reports, managing reconciliation processes, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. This is an urgent hire opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-financial stakeholders.
