Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax returns and support external audit processes.
- Perform thorough bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure data integrity.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including invoicing and collections.
- Conduct internal audits to improve financial controls and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
