Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ clients including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit coordination
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Develop client financial dashboards and KPI reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Certifications in QuickBooks Online or Xero preferred
