Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with process optimization initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
- Proven ability to lead complex financial projects and mentor junior staff
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
