Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations across all financial activities
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
