Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Develop financial models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks/ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
- Remote work experience preferred
