Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of general ledgers and financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in budget preparation and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline remote workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
