Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and forecasting.
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvements and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience working remotely and self-motivated work style.
