Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close processes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead accounts payable/receivable workflows, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Develop and implement financial controls, budgets, and forecasting models to optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for financial processes
- Manage tax preparation and filing obligations for multi-state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive experience in accounting with emphasis on financial reporting and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage remote teams and deliver results independently
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
