We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance department. This is a remote position based in New York, offering the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a world-class team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and preparing reports to assist management in decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and create variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
