Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules for external auditors.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
