Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Ensure SOX compliance and implement internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews and tax filings
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes and controls
