Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll integration, and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee tax preparation processes and ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
