Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews
- Develop and implement internal accounting controls
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (FL/IL focus)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
