Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee financial reporting packages ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and vendor management
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements using ERP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
