Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly and annual accounting cycles, including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) for executive management review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate collections.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documentation to ensure full compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve profitability.
- Maintain internal controls and audit trails to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial reporting standards, and GAAP principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
