Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage complex reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial governance
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial examinations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental initiatives
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently in remote settings
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
