Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly variance reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain internal controls and internal audit documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
