Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial processes
- Develop and implement accounting controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax and audit teams to resolve complex financial discrepancies
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven expertise in GAAP compliance and financial analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Remote work experience with self-discipline and time management
