Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 small to medium-sized businesses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Maintain accurate client accounting records using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and California state regulations
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a remote work environment
