Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with year-end audits.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
