Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documentation and regulatory compliance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a fully remote environment.
