Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA certification required (or actively pursuing with exam completion)
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA experience; familiarity with NetSuite or QuickBooks
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in financial data
- Experience in fintech or SaaS industry preferred
