Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations
- Conduct financial audits and support tax preparation for multi-state operations (CA/TX)
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-state compliance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Remote work experience and ability to collaborate effectively in virtual teams
