Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analysis for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate on budget forecasting and financial strategy initiatives
- Lead process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote/hybrid settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end closes and reconciliations
