Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory compliance reporting
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Mentor junior accountants and collaborate cross-functionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle
- Proven ability to manage month-end closes and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
