Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to internal controls
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and complex intercompany transactions
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and ensure audit readiness
- Maintain robust financial documentation in compliance with SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience in financial reporting for regulated industries (bonus)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
