Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports with GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial operations
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and presentations
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Remote work experience required with self-discipline and time management skills
