Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing of all regulatory documents.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across all accounting software platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and relevant tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
