Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and complex intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for portfolio companies and investment analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Enterprise and NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial models and analytical projects
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance in financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
