Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are posted correctly and reconciled.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP and AR, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Licensure: CPA certification is highly preferred but not strictly required for this role.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
