Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize internal controls to enhance financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
