Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate, timely, and fully reconciled.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring vendor and client billing is processed efficiently.
- Assist in the annual external audit process by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Conduct variance analysis on budgets versus actuals to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial records and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night shift hours.
