Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the night shift closing procedures, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately by the daily cut-off.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for multiple ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analyses for executive leadership review.
- Collaborate with the external audit team during year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update internal control procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with specific experience in a night shift or high-volume environment preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, 24-hour operational environment.
