Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to prevent errors or fraud.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations in the United States.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy during night hours.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the day-shift team.
