As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card balances, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analyses for executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Assist in external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Mandatory: Must be available to work the night shift schedule (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
