As a night shift Senior Accountant, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee the night audit process and ensure timely posting of journal entries.
- Review and approve invoices and expense reports within the shift.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to resolve outstanding accounting issues.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven experience working effectively in night shift or rotational schedules.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
