As an Accountant in our night shift team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting our operational continuity. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries, reconciliations, and account clean-ups during the night shift.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Conduct audits of financial documents and transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to resolve discrepancies and share critical financial insights.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems to maintain up-to-date financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with night shift or high-volume processing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote-night shift environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
