Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including complex account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide strategic financial forecasting.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations and financial laws.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to optimize cash flow management.
- Prepare corporate tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and conduct regular performance reviews of financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
