Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform complex reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization remains compliant with tax laws, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize accounting workflows and implement best practices.
- Payroll Oversight: Assist in the month-end payroll process and ensure accurate remittance of taxes.
- Budget Management: Support the budget preparation process and monitor variances against actuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
