Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and industry standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for multi-location operations
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial processes
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize team workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis and internal controls
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
