Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts, variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
