Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during the annual review process.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Support the budgeting process by providing variance analysis and forecasting reports to management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and assist in the implementation of new accounting software or system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
